Abstract

Complexity Management Methods have been proven a useful methodology managing complex product architecture. However, insufficient training and lack of visibility of the advantages hinder the transfer and implementation of these methods. This paper presents a teaching case based on a real case that facilitates practical training on complexity management methods. The aim of the case is to develop an understanding of DSM and related methods among students and practitioners. The data was collected through the analysis of documents and a series of interviews within a start-up.
